"How Many Fingers Am I Holding Up, Winston?"

If your job is "head of diversity," you don't have to design computers or software or anything like that. But you can fail at your job, and you would do that by acknowledging that there's any concept of diversity apart from what the cultural orthodoxy says. Denise Young Smith has this job at Apple, and apparently she engages in a little too much independent thought because one day she got a little tired of the idea that diversity can't be about anything but racial and sexual identity. So she said so, and that's where her trouble started:

"There can be 12 white, blue-eyed, blonde men in a room and they're going to be diverse too because they're going to bring a different life experience and life perspective to the conversation. Diversity is the human experience. I get a little bit frustrated when diversity or the term diversity is tagged to the people of color, or the women, or the LGBT."

If the quote sounds entirely unobjectionable to you, that's because it is. Diversity of thought and experience are much more meaningful than diversity of skin pigmentation or sexual proclivity, particularly when you consider that the former categories are much more likely to impact how a person does his or her job than the latter. Young Smith clearly got frustrated by the realization that "diversity" never seems to deal with anything but identity politics, and expressed out loud her wish that people would think more broadly about what it really means and what it can be.

That, unsurprisingly, turned out to be a Thought Crime.

TechCrunch reported on Friday that Young Smith sent an email to her team at Apple earlier that day in which she apologized for her comments at the conference:

"Last week, while attending a summit in Bogota, I made some comments as part of a conversation on the many factors that contribute to diversity and inclusion. I regret the choice of words I used to make this point. I understand why some people took offense. My comments were not representative of how I think about diversity or how Apple sees it. For that, I'm sorry."

The word "diversity" is like many words the left bastardizes. It's not really about diversity at all. Denise Young Smith got out of line and thought for herself, and got it in her head that maybe diversity could be something more valuable and meaningful than the political left wants it to be. And for that, she got smacked down and thoroughly chastened. Fall into line, or else.

Today's "culture of diversity" offers no option but to fall in line. When you're a champion of diversity, there is only one acceptable way to think. Think about that.

The payment appears to be for a “job well done.” Under Obama Wall Street profits soared while Main Street continued to struggle and the gap between the rich and the poor has never been greater. And those Wall Street profits were primarily financed on the back of Mr. Obama’s history-shattering levels of deficit spending. Seems there is a great deal of money to be made giving speeches about caring for the poor.

The first speech he signed up for is a banking summit where he will earn a quick $400,000 speaking and schmoozing with the very people he convinced voters he was against. The second speech was a 90-minute giggle and nod affair given in front of a roomful of Wall Street media advertisers. These paid speeches are but the first of many likely to come from the Obama Machine.

Michelle Obama is also being scheduled for similar money-grab speeches in the coming months as well to the very same organizations she railed against when her husband was running for president in 2008. It appears their conscience has a price and for now, that price is about $400,000 a pop.

In an attempt to get the ghetto rats interested in the election and back on the reservation for Hillary, Calvin Broadus , aka Snoop Dogg's latest act will be to bring together the Democratic Party.  The rapper is set to headline a "unity party" following the last night of the Democratic National Convention on July 28 in Philadelphia co-hosted by the super PACs Priorities USA, the Senate Majority PAC and the House Majority PAC, the groups announced Tuesday.

Mr. Dogg announced that he would be supporting Hillary Clinton less than a month after she declared her candidacy in May 2015. 

"You know I like to be politically correct, but sometimes I’m politically incorrect. Watch What Happens Live. But I’ll say that I would love to see bitches a woman in office because I feel like we’re at that stage in life to where we need a perspective other than the male’s train of thought. And just to have bitches a woman speaking from a global perspective as far as representing America, I’d love to see that. So I’ll be voting for da bitch Ms. Clinton." 

The groups also announced that the Grammy-winning group Los Lobos will perform.  And I would imagine a heavy presence of Police and Emergency Medical personal will also be in attendance.

Cleta Mitchell, who is representing True the Vote, filed an ethics probe against Elijah Cummings on February 6th (2014) with the Office of Congressional Ethics . Last fall, True the Vote started receiving 8 and 9 page letters from Cummings, claiming he was conducting an investigation of their organization as part of the House Oversight Committee. One problem. The House Oversight Committee is only allowed to investigate government agencies. Going after a private citizen is illegal.

Mitchell wants to find out if Cummings is responsible in part or completely for the harassment of Catherine Engelbrecht, founder of True the Vote. After Cummings launched his “investigation” , Engelbrecht had her business audited twice, her personal taxes once, two visits from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms, a surprise visit from OSHA, seven visits from the FBI.

Last week, emails were released to the committee that showed that Cummings was working with Lois Lerner, which is why he attempted to scuttle the investigation into the IRS, immediately as soon as it was announced.

Kurt Schrader (D-Ore.) just told the world what conservatives have suspected for decades:

"Our party has gotten to be a party of liberal elites. That's great if you want to be in the minority for the next 30 years. That's not where America is. Democrats have left our lunch-bucket allies behind."

In an interview regarding his opposition to the EPA, Rep. Schrader makes the admission after calling the EPA the "big problem for economic development in our region." He is unhappy with the EPA’s handling of an effort to clean-up the pollution of Portland’s harbor. He says that they are driven by emotion more than they are by the science and that instead of coming up with a cost-effective solution, they are more interested in committing to a crusade against the city’s business community.

"Moving back to the Stone Age may be fine for some people, but people need jobs. I think we can balance the environment and these jobs,” stated Rep. Schrader. "I like to think I'm the voice of reason."

We know Congressman.  Barack Obama, places like Baltimore and  Chicago and the blocking of the Keystone Pipeline are just the most recent reminders of you party's ongoing emotion driven problem solving for America. Glad you're finally waking up to it.

The Preferred Candidate of Millionaires Is…....

It has been a myth for decades now that the Republican Party is the party of the rich. For the most part, the middle class has been republican since Ronald Reagan made the country realize they were the salt of America, the backbone of the republic.

But with out-of-balance trade agreements and the largest transfer of American technology to foreign countries  during the Bill Clinton administration , thus setting up of the shipping jobs overseas, and democrats politicians turning a blind eye to the excesses of big banking (see housing bubble) the wealthy have made out like bandits.

Barack Obama and the democrats have decimated the middle class and have done nothing but produce more dependence on government of the poor, creating the largest income imbalance since the robber barons of the early twenty century. Yet their phony new mantra for 2016 is now "the middle class economy". 

So it's no surprise younger millionaires support Hillary Clinton. It's  massive incomes in Media, Hollywood, and corporate incomes like Apple have Wall Street and their wealthiest investors know on what side their bread is buttered on. 

They look for a new boss, same as the old boss.....

The Fiction of "Net Neutrality".

There is no such thing as Net Neutrality and it could not be further away from the truth.  Net Neutrality, as a concept, has been created by liberals and is anything but neutral and it is as corrupt as a concept could be.  It's a false facade created to stifle free speech and in particular the speech and ideas of the political right.

Like all liberal attempts, Net Neutrality purports to be the answer to a problem that, upon closer inspection, simply does not exist.  Net neutrality as proposed by the Chairman of the FCC will actually slow down internet speeds as it ostensibly seeks a social outcome of egalitarianism between all internet users.  Nothing could be farther from the truth.

As it stands now, an individual can pay an internet provider for the internet speed they want and need and pay the price that meets their needs and objectives.  Individuals, today, have a wide choice of internet providers with an even wider choice of services from which to choose.  With Net Neutrality, internet speeds will be leveled to equalize speeds between all customers.  It is simply an attack on an individual's right to freely choose in the open market place, what they want in internet speeds and related services. 

Net Neutrality, by all accounts of those in the industry, will slow down the dissemination and transfer of information without regard for the rights of individuals.  It is a most serious and egregious interference and attack by government on the First Amendment that can be imagined at the present time.

To think that a federal agency, the Federal Communications Commission, with a committee of five politically appointed members can actually take control of the internet and regulate it at their whim, is a monumental blow to individual liberty and freedom.  

As Net Neutrality purports to give greater access to individuals, in reality it will limit access by individuals and increase the power and strength of the oligopoly of the major internet carriers as they squeeze out smaller competitors.   The major internet providers will thus have the capacity to raise prices on all customers without having to maintain and improve internet communications technology for their customers.  Net Neutrality is a destroyer of competition.  It is competition which produces a better product or service, not government regulation.

Another Screw the Taxpayer Scam

Obama to Propose Two Free Years of Community College

As we have learned, when a Democrat uses the word free, they actually mean bend over and smile taxpayers. And now Barack is to propose in his upcoming State of Disunion Speech, free college tuition for community college students.

"What I’d like to do is to see the first two years of community college free for everybody who’s willing to work for it."

His proposal would make two years free for students with a C+ average who attend school at least half-time and who are making “steady progress” toward their degree.  

And what about the free part?  Federal funding would cover three-quarters of the average cost of community college, and Obama is asking states to pick up the rest of the tab. (Lean Forward Mr. and Mrs. Taxpayer).

Here's the best part:
Community colleges must also adopt “promising and evidence-based institutional reforms to improve student outcomes".  Reforms and improved student outcomes in the same sentence means just one thing in Obama's America,  Federal Mandated Rules and Race Based Outcome.

What we will get is is another delusional liberal dream program,  our tax money haplessly given away to try and educate ghetto rats while they wile away their free time in weave salons or work on their rap careers while wasting educator's time and resources better used for responsible students. 

While a program like this could be helpful for single mothers trying to make a life for them and their family, or the  returning Veteran,  it should be exclusive.  But like everything the liberal comes up with it will be another bloated federally directed affirmative action, administrative nightmare falling directly on the overtaxed taxpayers and states already struggling with and other federal mandates.

The Delusions Continue for Nancy Pelosi

The 114th Congress just began on Tuesday and we have anotherdelusional thought emerge from the House Minority Leader, Nancy Pelosi.  Apparently, the tail wants to wag the dog and doesn't realize who's running the show in the House.  Yes, Nancy Pelosi has once again gone off the deep end of an admittedly shallow and diminished Democrat pool in the House.

One has to give Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) credit for trying to push an anti-American agenda as the minority party in Congress.   

Pelosi has unveiled a Democratic legislative “package” that includes the “Stop Corporate Expatriation and Invest In America’s Infrastructure Act,” a bill that prevents U.S. businesses from moving overseas, which according to Pelosi, would prevent these companies from “paying their fair share of taxes.”

Only a liberal Democrat, with no business experience and a less than third grade understanding of taxation, could come up with such an idiotic proposal for a bill in Congress.  American corporations are moving some or all their operations to foreign shores because the American tax code rate for corporations is the highest in the industrialized world.  Liberals Democrats, with their idiotic tax code, have given corporations every incentive to move offshore with the highest corporate tax rate in the world driving them to do so.

The economic principle is simple.  The more you tax something, the less you get in return for your efforts.

Understand that corporations are taxed on their profits at corporate rates and then stockholders are subsequently taxed at personal income tax rates again on the dividends they receive on the same corporate profits already taxed at the corporate level.  

This is exactly what the liberals want.  Double taxation.  They get two shots at taxing the same profits.  Not a bad deal, when you can get it.  Of course there is no moral or ethical justification for this, but then, we know liberals are morally and ethically challenged in doing anything that is morally or ethically right.  That's just the joy of being a liberal.  You get to make up a moral and ethical construction that suits the ultimate goal and, in this case, that is to squeeze and extract as much revenue as possible from corporations and tax payers.

Back to the present.  Liberal Democrats have driven American corporations to do exactly what they are doing for their stockholders, which, for corporations, is to maximize the value of the stockholder's equity holding in the corporation.  Corporations have a fiduciary duty to bring the greatest value to the stockholders.  Liberal Democrats simply can't get that concept through their Marxist socialist way of thinking.  It's completely antithetical to Marxist socialist dogma. 

Liberal Democrats are captives of Marxist socialist dogma, which demands a redistribution of wealth from producers to those who consume the wealth created by others, while those consumers of wealth do little if anything to become part of the producer class in America.  

There are more people are on food stamps than are students attending all levels of education in America.  America has become a nation of grifters living off the producers and why shouldn't they?  Liberal Democrats have given them every incentive to live off the producers of America with the vast and wide ranging social welfare programs they have enacted into law in order to gain political control over these people.  

When liberal Democrat government provides the basic necessities for human existence, without any responsibility for those receiving the assistance, a perpetual underclass is created and this underclass, almost 50% of tax filers, does not pay personal federal income taxes and a good portion actually get rebates in excess of what taxes they had withheld by employers. 

The best possible outcome for America and its economy would be to completely eliminate the corporate tax altogether and shift the tax to the personal tax rates for individuals who receive dividends and capital gains from their corporate income.  Individuals would receive significant increases in dividends which would make it more palatable to pay the personal tax rate.  This will, however, never happen because politicians in general, and liberal Democrats in particular, will never willingly give up control of a source of tax revenue, even if it means it will increase overall revenues by eliminating the corporate tax.

What makes Nancy Pelosi's proposal delusional is that there is no way on God's green earth, with an enlarged Republican majority in the House, that there is any chance of passing such Marxist socialist tripe.  Could a liberal Democrat be anymore anti American than Nancy Pelosi?  Probably not, but there are a lot of liberal Democrats that could compete for that ignominious distinction.

We Fixed It. A Progressives' View of Urban America

Here we have a picture of Detroit Michigan, back when it was a hideous cesspool that lacked any semblance of diversity. Just look, this is Detroit in 1916.  Don't you feel disgusted?  

You don't see a single African-American expressing their culture. All the women are dress modestly in public because the white patriarchy insisted, believing leaving something to the imagination was a good thing or something silly like that. Not one gay porn shop in sight. Hell, no gays anywhere expressing their love, having to practice their lifestyle in private, and in the dark recesses of society. And no uncommitted interracial couples with their many bi-racial children walking through the crowded street.

And don't get me started on all the blatantly disgusting normative capitalist signs everywhere. Even the streets are revolting clean because of the white patriarchy's lackeys, the city's oppressive law enforcement that prowled the streets on foot with billy clubs in hand. 

It saddens me to look at this picture, then I look at modern Detroit, an interracial paradise of tolerance and diversity, and I breathe a sigh of relief. We liberals and progressives are going to fix the rest of America,  just like we did Detroit.  

The Last Day of Southern Congressional Democrats

The outcome of tomorrow’s Louisiana Senate runoff election is not in much doubt. With the most recent state poll showing Republican Rep. Bill Cassidy with a whopping 26-point lead over incumbent Democratic Senator Mary Landrieu, it is a virtual certainty that the last vote of the 2014 midterms will ensure that the GOP will have a 54-46 Senate majority in January. Even before the votes are counted, the result is being rightly touted as the end of the Democratic Party in the South. But while the reasons for this are worth examining, it’s also important to point out that the implications of this trend have more than a regional impact.

Just as the Democrats have developed a built-in advantage in the Electoral College in presidential elections, a new solid South in the hands of the Republicans means they have now acquired an equally potent edge that should allow them to retain control of Congress for the foreseeable future.

As Nate Cohn writes in the New York Times’s Upshot section, though most put the shift of the South into the GOP column down to race, it’s a lot more complicated than that. Democrats survived and even thrived at times in the Deep South decades after Richard Nixon’s “Southern strategy” enabled Republicans to flip the region into the GOP column in presidential elections. But the steady drift of the Democratic Party to the left on social, cultural, and economic issues has now alienated most voters in these states and left moderate Democrats like Landrieu increasingly isolated from both their constituencies and their national party.

As Cohn notes, blaming this solely on alleged white racism or on a backlash against President Obama ignores the fact that Democratic losses in the South can be traced to the way the party has embraced liberal issues that energize its northern and urban base but which alienates southerners:

Led by Dr. Kristen Mmari, an assistant professor at Johns Hopkins Department of Population, Family and Reproductive Health, the survey assessed health challenges faced by 2,400 15- to 19-year-olds from impoverished areas in Baltimore, Shanghai, Johannesburg, Ibadan and New Delhi, as well as their perceptions of their environments.

The researchers found many similarities—in all five cities, adolescents were exposed to unsanitary conditions, substance abuse and violence—but the differences between each area were especially compelling. Overall, teenagers in Baltimore and Johannesburg, despite being located in comparably wealthy countries, had far worse health outcomes and tended to perceive their communities more negatively."

Virus that 'makes humans more stupid' discovered

It looks as if scientist have finally discovered what most of us have know for a long time: there had to be a inherent reason people on the left are so mind dumbed to the realities of a sane world, and so easily blinded by their intolerances.... 

"A virus that infects human brains and makes us more stupid has been discovered, according to scientists in the US.  The algae virus, never before observed in healthy people, was found to affect cognitive functions including visual processing and spatial awareness. 

Scientists at Johns Hopkins Medical School and the University of Nebraska stumbled upon the discovery when they were undertaking an unrelated study into throat microbes. Surprisingly, the researchers found DNA in the throats of healthy individuals that matched the DNA of a virus known to infect green algae.

Dr Robert Yolken, a virologist who led the original study, said:  “This is a striking example showing that the ‘innocuous’ microorganisms we carry can affect behavior and cognition."

Nine Facts Democrats Don't Want You to Hear Before You Vote Tomorrow

As we all get ready to head to the polls tomorrow, Democrats want you focused on the Koch brothers (that evil fang-toothed fictionalized version, not the real ones who are excellent and highly successful businessmen) and their “war on women” crapola.

What they do not want you focused on is the data that shows what failures they have been leading this nation. Many people do not even know the facts I’m about to share, because the mainstream media do not report them. So read them and share them with nine friends who are going to vote tomorrow. It just might help decide whether Harry Reid remains in control of the Senate or is sent to the back bench where he belongs. (Actually that’s not where he belongs, but I’ll not get into that now.)

Nine facts Democrats do not want to talk about:

1. Sluggish economic growth. Yes, we’ve had a couple of strong quarters, but annualized growth throughout the Obama presidency has been less than 2 percent. That is horrendous.

 2. Medium income is down $3,000 per household since Obama took office. Astonishing.

 3. The labor participation rate is down from 67 percent to 62 percent, which makes the published unemployment rate look much better than it really is. The U6 rate, which includes those who have given up looking for work, remains over 10 percent.

 4. More part-time jobs have been created than full-time jobs in last six years.

 5. The home ownership rate is down from 67 percent to 64 percent.

 6. Taxes went up when the Bush tax cuts were allowed to expire. Liberals will say that’s fine because they only went up on the rich. I say the government did what it too often does and chose to target producers and opportunity creators.

7. ObamaCare is a failure! More people are losing their insurance than are becoming newly insured, and 51 percent of those enrolled in the exchanges say they will not re-up given the opportunity the next time around. Then there are the 29ers (people being limited to 29 hours a week because of ObamaCare mandates) and the 49ers (not the San Francisco ones . . . the businesses intentionally staying under 50 employees to avoid the coverage mandate). There are also thousands of doctors refusing patients with ObamaCare coverage because they can’t cover their costs on the reimbursements, while thousands more doctors are retiring early.

8. The national debt has exceeded $17 trillion for the first time in U.S. history. Remember when Obama declared as a senator that running up debt was unpatriotic? Um. Yeah.

9. From the Middle East to Eastern Europe to Russia to Britain to the Falkland Islands to Latin America to Mexico to the Far East, our foreign policy is a muddled mess. Shockingly to Obama the rest of the world did not conform to his global ideals just because he gave speeches saying they should.

These are facts. Tell everyone!

Are We Facing a Pending Viking Invasion?

I doubt anyone reading these words has any problem believing we are indeed presently being led by a small group of Numbskulls with very little knowledge of world affairs, affairs of state or national governing, am I right on this?

So it should comes as no surprise that a supposedly intelligent person who managed to convince people to vote him into office,  who is then picked from the basket and put in charge of one of the most important positions concerning our national defense could come up with a very unusual, if not ridiculous idea. These are the times in which we live.....

In the real world, the first question facing any proposal for “defense” is, what is it supposed to defend us against? 

Before an enemy could land in strength on our shores, it would have to defeat the U.S. Navy. Exactly who is in a position to do that is not clear. Neither Russia or China qualify. The Royal Navy just isn’t what it used to be. The French are dastardly enough to try anything, but how much threat is posed by landing the French Army is not clear.

 How on earth could a seemingly sane Secretary of Defense suggest such a thing? 

Somewhere in the Pentagon is a wall locker where Secretary Hagel, upon taking office, checked his brain, his backbone, and his balls. It is one of many lockers containing the same body parts from previous senior civilian defense appointees. Can we ever put someone in the Secretary's position who refuses the operation?"

Are we not being told of a pending Viking raid, or maybe the mighty Cuban Army is on the move? 

With our land borders wide open to invaders from who knows where, and our military being played as pawns in political maneuvering at home, only an administration like we are witnessing could come up with ridiculous ideas like this.

After the appointment of a former first lady with no experience, save flying around on government aircraft, as secretary of state, followed into the office by a failed narcissistic  presidential candidate the world pays no attention to, I thought just about anything was possible with choosing of important positions of leadership in the country. I was correct.   

Obama’s Extraordinary Damage to His Party

"How much damage is Barack Obama doing to the Democratic Party? According to the respected political analyst Stuart Rothenberg, the answer is quite a lot. According to Rothenberg, “President Barack Obama is about to do what no president has done in the past 50 years: Have two horrible, terrible, awful midterm elections in a row.”

Mr. Rothenberg compares Obama to the worst midterm numbers of two-term presidents going back to Harry Truman. He concludes that it’s likely that over the course of two midterm elections, Democrats will lose somewhere in the range of 68-75 House seats range and 11-15 Senate seats.

Those final totals won’t be known for some time to come, given that Louisiana and Georgia may have run-off races that extend into next January. But certainly by Wednesday morning, we’ll have a pretty good sense of just how bad of a night Democrats will have suffered. Most of the polling of late suggests things are breaking for Republicans, though this development should keep the champagne on ice for now. In any event, it’s not too early to consider the fact that Barack Obama may be on the verge of doing unprecedented damage to the party he represents.

The man who thought he was the symbol of the possibility of America returning to its best traditions may become the symbol of the most politically destructive (to his own party) chief executive in modern American history. In light of the awful Obama years, voters are in the process of giving a fresh look to the GOP. The question is whether it will be enough to win the trust of voters who have turned against the president."
